Mid-Amateur Championship at Webhannet GC
The 30th playing of the Maine Mid-Amateur Championship gets underway on September 25 at Webhannet GC in Kennebunk. This event is open to Maine resident golfers aged 25 and older competing in a 36-hole stroke play competition. This year’s championship was originally scheduled in June but was moved back later in the season due to the coronavirus. In all, 114 players will compete in the year’s final individual MSGA championship.
In addition to the championship trophy up for grabs, players in the field will also be competing for three exemptions into next year’s Maine Amateur Championship at Kebo Valley. The top three players (not otherwise exempt already) will book their tickets to the Amateur on MDI next July.
