Matt Hutchins Monday Qualifies for PGA Tour Stop
Matt Hutchins, winner of the 2016 Maine Amateur and Match Play Championships, has qualified for his first PGA Tour event at this week's Mayakoba Classic in Mexico. The 23-year old shot 66 to earn one of four available spots to earn his chance to compete against that world's best south of the border this week.
After a successful campaign in Maine in 2016, the then Falmouth resident briefly attended UCLA before deciding to turn pro. This will be his debut on Tour. His tournament will begin at 1:10 on Thursday off the 10th tee.
