Maine Competing at Tri-States in Vermont

The 2018 Tri-State matches get underway this weekend at Brattleboro CC in Brattleboro, Vermont. This annual event features the top players from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont in a two-day Ryder Cup style competition. The teams are made up of ten players in the regular division and four players in the senior division. Maine's team is chosen by virtue of players' finishing positions in the Player of the Year and Senior Player of the Year points tables.

Saturday will feature matches of modified alternate shot, while Sunday will feature singles matches. Teams are awarded one point for a win, half point for a halve, and zero points for a loss.
