Drive, Chip and Putt at Val Halla

Jun 1, 2018

The road to Augusta National starts in Cumberland this weekend. Junior golfers from across the region are at Val Halla GC on June 2 to compete in a Local Qualifier for the Drive, Chip and Putt. Top finishers in their divisions will move on to a Regional Qualifier later this summer in the hopes of getting to the Masters and Augusta National next spring.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.
