Advancing to the final matches in the Maine Junior Championship at Val Halla GC on Thursday, August 7 are Jesse Speirs and Joe Baker in the Championship Division, and Mike Amato and Cameron Burgess in the 13-14 division.
In the semi-final matches, defending champion Speirs defeated John Kostis 2 and 1, Baker defeated Victor Linkovich 5 and 4, Amato defeated Dan Cloutier 5 and 4, and Burgess defeated Michael Hersey 2 up.
Contenders for the Girls' Division Championship are Shannon Mitchell and Rebecca Dyer.
David Gushee and Ryan Gay are competing for the 12 and under title.
