The Maine State Golf Association is proud to be celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and to kick things off we're hosting a centennial gala at the historic U.S. Custom House in downtown Portland, ME on May 17. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, live music, and a silent auction to benefit the MSGA Scholarship Fund. Cost: There is a suggested donation of $20 at the event.
Parking: There is plenty of on-street parking in the Old Port that is first-come, first-served. There is also a parking garage within one block of the Custom House, located at 25 Pearl Street.
Entrance: Attendees are advised that the only entrance for this event is on the Fore Street side of the building. The doors on the Commercial Street side of the building will not be open for our event.
Silent Auction: We have an amazing assortment of items to bid on at the event, with all proceeds going to support the MSGA Scholarship Fund, which to date has given more than $1.5 million to deserving Maine students with a passion for golf. We have rounds of golf, tickets to major sporting events, household goods, and everything else in between.
Music: Local favorite Dan Merrill will be performing during the gala.
