The MSGA office is open Monday through Friday excluding holidays, from 8:30 a.m. until at least 3 p.m. We welcome visitors to the office, which is located at the Val Halla Golf and Recreation Center off the Greely Road in Cumberland. Use the banquet center entrance. If you'd like to call ahead, our number is 207-829-3549.

Also located at the Cumberland facility are The First Tee of Maine (207-809-9030) and the Southern Maine Womens Golf Association (call 207-829-4442 for office hours), as well as a mail drop for the Maine Golf Course Superintendents Association.

Please use this message board to communicate with your fellow golfers. Perhaps your MSGA weekend group needs a fourth. Or perhaps you're a "single" player looking to match up with a group for a weekend event. Or maybe you want to publicize your favorite charity tournament or outing. Messages are perviewed before they appear; be aware this is done by a staff member during regular office hours. Thus, a message posted on a Thursday night won't be seen until Friday morning, and a message posted on Friday night will not show up for the weekend. Please remember to state what it is you're looking for and leave your contact and handicap information on the message board. Question: How do I respond to a message? In response to member requests, the MSGA has decided to display the MSGA member voucher list online. Use the list to see if you have bought your membership for 2013 and to check on your prize-account balance in the column with the heading, Balance. In the best interest of promoting amateur golf in Maine, the Maine State Golf Association, Inc. has a fund to help reimburse expenses to players who qualify for USGA championships. Due to a change in the USGA Amateur Status regulations two years ago, all amateur players competing in championships are now eligible for reimbursement of certain expenses, including travel costs, meals and tournament costs.

The MSGA cannot accomplish its mission without the help of volunteers, who are so important to our success, especially at tournament sites. Volunteer opportunties abound, whether at Junior events or major championships.
